Hello all this is my first post in the community. Read a bunch but never asked. So I purchased a kit of G skills ripjaw 2133 speed ram 2x8 16gb.
But my system doesn't seem to run that speed. I've changed the timing and voltage and frequency in my bios and I've also used my XMP settings (profile 1 and 2) but still nothing. My BIOS is saying its running at 1866. And my memory isn't showing up at I'm CPU Z it's just showing the amount (16gb) I can still return the RAM and get something different but I wanted to see if I can get the advertised speed on my system. Appreciate any answers and thank you for the help

My system specs are an AMD FX 6300 processor an MSI 970 gaming motherboard hyper 212 Evo a Corsair Cx 500 watt and an r9 270x

Solution
The 6300 CPU is best run with 1866 and under, haven't seen many that could even run 2133 sticks, if wanting to try 2133, would try 2133, 10-10-10-27, 1.70 and set the CPU/NB voltage to 1.3

My cpu-nb voltage won't change to 1.3

I tried these settings without the cpu/nb voltage changed and it's still only reading at 933.3mhz 1866
