Hey everyone. I am new to the Tom's Hardware community and I wish to ask a question. I have an Asus Strix GTX 960 video card and something went really wrong. As I was playing Eurotruck Simulator 2, I heard a grinding noise emanating from inside my PC case. I immediately exited the game and opened up the side panel, to find that there were no wires in the way of any fans. I then tried to dismiss it as nothing, but my GTX 960's left fan comes off all of a sudden. I have no idea how this happened, as fans don't just come off for no reason. Is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

Solution
I would look for tiny screws, in the bottom of your case. It would appear that the screws, for that fan, were not tightened properly and worked their way loose.

Thank you very much. I will try and dismantle the GTX 960's cooler and locate the tiny screws you are talking about.
