So the other day I made a post about how my WD Black 2tb hard drive couldn't be initialized under the disk management section of windows 10. I kept receiving errors and my pc was reading the hard drive as having 0.0gb. In the post we determined that the drive was dead.

I went to the pc shop and sent in the old one for repairs etc and in the mean time I purchased another WD Black 2tb hard drive. When I connected it in to my motherboard i am getting the exact same issues as before. I find it hard to believe that both the drives were dead on delivery and that the problem must lay somewhere else. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

Hi again lykrain,

Well, you've done some extensive troubleshooting:
- cables
- ports
- HDD testing
- MOBO drivers

One other thing you can try is to update BIOS I guess. If the issue persists, the best thing would be to try it on another system(the one of a friend let's say) or find another drive to try on yours.
