My current specs:

CPU: AMD FX 4300-Quad core (3.8 Ghz)
GPU: AMD Radeon r7 200 series (?)

What I am thinking of upgrading to:

GPU: MSI Radeon R7 370
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo)

I play many games such as: Arma 3 DayZ, Payday 2. Ect.

Thanks in advance.

Technically, yes. You should be getting much better performances with the upgrade. For gaming, I would personally choose an Intel I5 over an AMD processor, because of the optimization, but if you prefer sticking to AMD, the FX-8350 is still a good CPU.

The FX-8350 was pretty much born overheating, so I would make sure that your airflow is good and your cooler is efficient.
