Is my CPU too hot?

I recently tried overclocking my CPU to 4.3 GHz and the first time I did it, was totally fine. The temp was around 40 degrees but after i woke up and tried overclocking it again, amd overdrive is telling my that it is 70 degrees, also I've experienced a few pc crashes as well. Should I be worried? I have an AMD 670k quad core processor 3.7Ghz, a GTX 960 2g SC and I have no idea what my fans are, I bought this computer from future shop and inserted a 500W PSU and the 960 into it.

Well i did try reducing the room temp but other than that I'm just using the stock fans that my PC came with.

Stock coolers are almost never enough, especially if you're overclocking. Depending on the size of your case I would invest in a liquid cooler with a large radiator. I can link some if you want.

Can't I just increase the RPM of my Fans in the BIOS?

If you don't care about noise of course, I just mentioned liquid cooling because that solution would allow a lot more headroom and stability for future overclocking.

Yeah I don't care about sound, can't hear shit with my headphones on. How effective would this be?

Probably a bit more effective, honestly 70 degrees is pretty good for 4.3 ghz. Increase the rpm in bios and you should be fine.

Overclocking using the stock cooler is a horrible idea, invest in a better cooling solution.
