So I have a m5a97 motherboard I was running a fx 4350 in and I just recently messed the pins up and can't get contact ect. And i bought the mobo a good like 2 years ago so my question is can I stick a fx 8350 in it will it at least let me get to the bios?? To ez flash it?? Or am I stuck buying another mobo that mobo is only like 90 bucks so it won't be a hard hit but kind of anoyying lol

As long as the current BIOS is compatible with the 8350 and none of the pins broke off and remain in the socket, it should work.
According to ASUS:
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97/HelpDesk_CPU/
Both the 4350 and 8350 need BIOS version 1605, so if the 4350 was working, the 8350 should.
