Just got a new motherboard and processor and on initial boot I am getting a DVI-D no signal

The fan on the CPU is running but the actual case fan is not. Everything boots up and I am getting a no DVI-D signal here are specs

Z97-A motherboard
Intel i5-4690k
8gb ram pcy 2800
Gtx 960 mini gpu

Can anyone provide some help? Thank you.

No everything is brand new I can't even access a operating system

OK, the title says "Just got a new motherboard and processor" which would imply that those are the only two new parts.

Where is the monitor plugged into ? IGP or GFX card ?

On the monitor OSD, what input is selected ?

Are you using a DVI-D cable ? HDMI ?

Again, what is your case fan plugged into ?

It is just a regular DVI cord. I have tried plugging into on board graphics and gfx card..

When I boot it up it just sits on a black screen and eventually says DVI-D no signal

Also the case fan is plugged into cha_1
