best system with 390x or 970 with 1000€ budget

Hey guys i need some help with my future-pc-system. I researched alot and decided to buy one of these cards:
R9 390X (not sure which one though)
Asus Strix OC GTX 970

what would you recommend me as a gpu and for the other parts?

it seems like there are tons of different opinions on that but lately i decided the same. Thanks and could you give me some advice on the other parts? mainboard cpu and so on.
