So i recently built a new Skylake PC with a new Gigabyte WF GTX 970, Naturally I install the drivers immediately. Everything goes well until near the end where a pop-up appears saying "Geforce Experience has stopped working". I close it, and when the setup finishes it shows that Geforce Experience has failed installing, while all the other drivers has been successful.
I tried reinstalling drivers and clean installing drivers and each time the same thing appears.
Any suggestions?

Afaik GFE is optional. It is not a must component for you to run your games. Although certain feature like shadow play can only be use through GFE. So you really need GFE?

The GeForce experience is the program that retrieves these drivers. It's the program that opens when you click the NVIDIA icon in your taskbar. If that is having issues then I would try getting the driver from Windows Update or downloading it directly from NVIDIA itself. Maybe the new installation will fix the corruption.
