Hello friends, I've recently decided to build a computer.
I'm new to this so I had a few difficulties but they were all solved.
I ran into a problem where my USB wasnt working, then evolved into my pc not booting.
Which ended up being missing the Jumper caps for the CMOS and USBs.
I found 2 of the jumpers, put them back on.
Front panel usb doesnt work anymore though.
But whenever I launch my computer, it says on my Screen "USB device over current status detected !!"
USB works fine now but cant enter bios.
Also tells me Enter SETUP to recover bios setting.
Any clues of this?
Can it be the missing jumper?
Components are:
GPU: GTX 960 4GB strix
CPU: G3258
MOBO: ASUS h81m-plus
Harddrive: Seagate barracuda
Ram: Crucial ballistix sport 2x4 8GB
Case: Corsair Carbide Spec-01
PSU: EVGA 500W non modular
Please help, really desperate.

Solution
I would buy a bag of jumper caps to have at hand for this (and future needs). Then, place all the caps according to your manual and try again after resetting everything to default. If still fails, maybe RMA the board.
