So I just bought a new pair of headphones, and they're rated at 30 ohms. I was wondering if I need an amp for these. They are not as loud as my other headphones on the same volume. I'm not a "bass-head" or anything but the bass is just doesn't reach my satisfaction. Keep in mind that these headphones are closed back. I always thought 30 ohm is quite easy to drive. So do I need an amp? if so, can you guys suggest one? anything around $100 would be nice, and also portable, meaning USB powered.
