When ever I'm playing games on my PC it gets really hot and starts to able a lot of noise. I have had it for a while but only got to use it 1-2 months ago because it had a PSU problem which meant that I had to just store it away for a couple of weeks. The fans are slightly noisy even when not playing games. Could this be because of a build up of dust and if so how should I get ride of it.

PC specs:
And fx 8350 with cooler master hyper 212 Evo
GTX 780
8GB ram
Cosiar 200r

Solution
Hey there.

My 2 guess are: 1 Dust a lot of it. to remove it its pretty dam straigh forward, you discharge yourself of static electricity (Touch some metal) open your case avoid touching any component bare hands be sure your pc is out of the power outlet :D. you can literally grab your hover and carfuly hoover the interior of your case. Now VERY important once you start hoovering the fans area make sure you dont let the fans spin, if they spin, they could create an electric charge and literally fry your motherboard. if the hoover cant remove the deep dust, use a clean long pincel and clean the pcb components.

2 guess (I guess this is your problem) You need to change the thermal compound of your fans, buy some good quality...

What's your motherboard?

When using an aftermarket cooler, you lose the downdraft from the stock AMD 125w HSF ---- you would be best served to direct a fan toward the CPU socket and PWM.

What's your VCore? High CPU volts can spin-up your fans and drive temps to crazy levels.
