My Hard Drive won't show up

Hey guys, I just built a brand new PC(the one I'm using now), I installed the OS on my SSD, and it appears in the My Computer section of My Documents while my hard drive does not. I'm just wondering why that is, I would like to get it to be able to download stuff onto it asap because my SSD isn't the biggest thing in the world.

Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Storage->Disk Management->Find your HDD (Unallocated Space probably)->Right click - New Simple Volume
