Right now I only have 750w and stock cooler. How far can i overclock my cpu without damaging it. I will buy cpu cooler but for now I am not satisfied.

Solution
You've got an average mobo (4+1) power phase and the PSU is fine, not top quality but not bad either.

Due to the weak power phase, I doubt you'll see high OC speed with a 6300. However, a moderate 4.3-5 maybe doable. Just keep an eye on the VRMs temperature.

I don't know what you have for GPU, given that you're not CFX or have a 295x2, then you'll manage.

Get the Cryorig H7 or H5, if they fit in your case.

I wouldn't OC it on the stock cooler, but if you want to, there's no ''set limit'' with the stock cooler. You'll have to try it and then monitor your temperature while running Prime95 Small FFTs. Stop the test if it reaches 62*C, and reduce the overclock. In general, but particularly while using the stock cooler, don't use your motherboard's automatic OC, it will set the Voltage way too high and your temperatures will skyrocket.

Really? Fudge, I'm outdated. Listen to him, Fodabe, he surely is a better source than me on the subject.

For the price, we all have to admit that the EVO 212 was one heck of a cooler though! It had to be beaten at some point, and I'm glad you told me about the H7. I looked it up and it really seems to be impressive for the price and its size.
