What is the difference between these Samsung monitors? (They seem the exact same)

Hey guys,

Just in the process of doing some research for a new monitor (or two) to upgrade to, and ended up looking at this Samsung in particular.

Anyways, I obviously did some price checking and review searching to see what I could find in regards to the monitor and the best price I could get. Thats when I stumbled upon this odd inconsistency. It seems some places advertise the monitor as the Samsung S24E510C, and others Samsung LS24E510CSX. The only difference is one starts with "LS" and the other with just "S". As far as I can tell, there is actually no differences between these three monitors, other than the weird price variance, which is what has me double checking here. The JB-HI-FI monitor is advertised as 24" whereas the other two are advertised as the correct 23.5", however based off the measurements provided, the JB-HI-FI monitor is actually 23.5", just advertised as 24".

If anyone can spot any differences between the monitors that would be great. Well if not, it would also be great because there are some serious price differences here, which means I can easily track down the best value for money.

Here are the different links that I have found for what seems to be the same monitor:

Cheers in advance guys!

I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure that office work one doesn't have a headphone jack. Definitely go for the jbhifi one because that has a headphone jack and is pretty much identical to the other ones and a cheaper price, so i say go for it!

Yeah I suppose that makes sense. But even so, the one that you linked (the third link), for Australia, is RRP at $399. None of these monitors are advertised anywhere near that amount. Which makes me wonder again if they are different? I have just never come across a situation where the prices of what seem like the exact same monitor vary so much. Especially considering the most expensive of the three is on an actual PC website that works directly with the manufacturers.

Yeah ended up grabbing two of the jbhifi ones. The boxes actually have the exact same 'code' as the boxes from scorptech, although I do believe the office works one are a touch different. JB just advertised the whole code instead of removing a few of the numbers and letters. Ended up getting them both for $540. Which is way better than the $720 I would have paid at scorptech or even office works. So happy with the pickup!
