I just bought a new system last year(around july/aug) .Now I have as much as $200-250 to spend and Im thinking of upgrading my gpu because there are games that I couldnt play properly even in the lowest setting. Is it the right time to buy a new gpu? mainly for games (could you guys answer the following questions in bullet form) (ps: im ok whether its an amd or a nvidia)
1. if yes,im thinking of buying a gtx 960(this is the primary gpu that Im thinking to buy because of other reasons) , is it ok?
2. what other gpu you could recommend that is around $200-$250 (best if its in the 170-210 bracket)
3. if I could go up to the 250-310 budget bracket, what could you recommend.
thanks

My current system:
-ram: 8gb ram
-gpu: Sapphire r7-250 1gb
-psu: 700w psu
-motherboard: GA-F2A68HM-S1 (rev. 1.1)
-proc: AMD A8-7600
-monitor: BenQ 24" RL2450H Full HD Gaming Monitor

btw I dont know what is my case but this is it for you to know if the gpu could fit: (sorry about the dust, I was also shocked after i came back from the holidays)

btw, im already using the AMD dual graphics feature of my APU and GPU if that matters

Yes Gtx960 is a good choice however there might be some bottleneck with your cpu, it will be good if you also upgrade your cpu. Anyway if you buy gtx 960 go with asus or gigabyte i used to have msi gtx960 and it only gave me problems this is just my opinion. good luck
