Should fan spin, and should there be 12 volts present when not connected to motherboard?
When connected to motherboard, led's and fans don't operate.

I've got one of these and I'm considering replacing it since I have very little confidence in it. I bought it because it was cheap and of 385 reviews on amazon 80% are 5 star, which I take as it's pretty reliable but that doesn't mean it a good clean supplier of power.

Anyone found a real review for this psu or who the real manufacture/model for this. I've searched and around a found the 825w is a decent Super Flower built unit, but SF does not make a 725w so I would assume a diff. manufacture for this..

The 850 and different series is made by SF..

The Sentey SDP850-SS is a rare case where the power supply was under labeled. It is sold as having the standard 80 Plus certification, but the manufacturer could easily achieve the 80 Plus Bronze certification, as efficiency was practically within 80 Plus Silver numbers. This happened because the Sentey SDP850-SS uses resonant, DC-DC, and synchronous designs, features that are usually only available in high-efficiency power supplies with at least the 80 Plus Bronze certification.
