That is a pretty slow connection, and will slow things down if you view HD video and do anything else. I suggest you contact your IPS, they may need to reset your connection.

It wasn't always like this, no, before it used to work just fine.
When I type something in, it would search for it right away, no hanging.

It started happening couple of months ago, and I have this same connection for 5 years now.
Its 2.10 / 0.25 Mbps . Wired connection.
It used to be lower(the speed) but my ISP slowly increases the speed every year.(I guess others do the same)

Yes, same thing happens on both wireless and wired.

It didnt bother me that much since I wasn't always at home, but now that I am, it became a pain in the ass.

I only have one "box" next to my computer, it is ZXHN H208N.
I am connected to this box via Ethernet cable, but it also has a wireless. All in one box so thats neat.
I never reset it or reboot it.(I do turn it off when I go to sleep, yes)
