See I have 2 sticks of ram one is 8gigs(the old one) my new one if im correct is 12 gigs. In my BIOS it shows both ram are working and have sufficient power but if I take out the old ram my computer will no longer boot it will turn on and sit there (It dosent boot at all I cant access the bios). And when I use CPU-Z it only shows up with 1 stick in the memory tab and its the 8 gigs.

Solution
Yeah, maybe it can't deal with 12gig stick, or as in one of my laptop, it can only take the "low density" kind 16 chips(yes) vs 8 chips(no), don't ask me to explain it. The best thing to do is, join the Mobo forum and ask question there for your very specific Mobo.
Sounds like your motherboard can't handle the 12gig stick. You said when you take one out it won't boot, you mean when you try the 12gig stick alone right?
Will it boot on the 8gig stick alone?

Refer to your motherboard website for compatible ram.

I will not boot alone 12 gigs
It will bot alone 8 gigs
But when booted together it only uses my 8 gig even though both of them show up in the bios
I cant get my motherboard if you like?
