Approximate Purchase Date: March 2016

Budget Range: $1500 Before Rebates; Before Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Game capture, Light video editing, Rendering, and Web browsing.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, a copy of Windows 8.1 or 10

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg or whichever you suggest.

Location: Meredith, NH USA

Parts Preferences: Usually I go with Intel. I'm unfamiliar with AMD. But will go with what is suggested. I am a fan of EVGA, Rosewill, and Corsair. I'd prefer to stick with Nvidia for graphics cards.

Overclocking: Maybe if I learn how to properly.

SLI or Crossfire: No plans right now and I have heard it may not be the best of ideas.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I already have an EVGA GTX 750 ti FTW edition graphics card sitting in the box. I know that card could easily get blown away with a $1500 build, but just thought I would throw that out there. Also I already have a 120gb Samsung SSD.

Game's I play on my PC are: Mostly Battlefield 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Witcher series, and The Elder Scrolls.

At the moment I can run Battlefield 4 on Low settings and average 60fps with my reference Nvidia GTX 550 ti graphics card. I'd like to maintain at least 60fps at 1920x1080 res, but run higher settings if possible.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My current computer is a pre-built machine from HP. It has served me decently well for the last 4 years but I feel it is time to upgrade and build my own.

I left out an SSD because you said you had one. Easily got this under budget with room to spare (If you end up wanting to make changes).
