I am replacing my ASUS 6850 with an MSI GTX 970.

The Asus used 2 6 pin connectors.

I dont have an 8 pin connector on this PSU (Cooler Master RS-700-ACAA-B1).

There are 2 extra black 2 pin connectors on the PSU cabling. 1 comes up the main bundle, the other (short) comes off the bottom of one of the 6 pin connectors. Both of these (grounds???) have an extra lip on one side of 1 pin.

When I look at the MSI 8 pin female port, there is no way either of those little black 2 pin connectors will fit.

So, can I get an adapter piece to convert one of the 6 pin PSU connectors to a 8 or do I need a new PSU? (Which would blow, this one is only about a year and a half old when my Corsair died).
