can nividia graphics be added to m4200 processor w 4600 graphics card

I bought an H.P. envy, with an Intel i5 4200m, a few years ago. It also came equipped with intel 4600 graphics. I would like to add a Nividia GeForce GT 740m graphic card. is that possible

i'ld suggest you to trade buy the model with the GT 740M else you will pay more than you did for your notebook just to replace the motherboard so that you can have the GT 740M graphics adapter.

Simply upgrade the graphics adapters does not work in most notebooks. It requires a complete motherboard exchange.
