Hey guys, I just bought gigabytes geforce twin turbo gtx 970 and to put it frankly it is the most dysfunctional GPU i ever owned.

My first problem is that i cant access the BIOS. Everytime i boot it freezes on bios boot before it boots windows off my SDD(gigabyte ga z77 d3h) for 2 minutes and during that time i can't access BIOS and if i try when it boots windows i get black screened.

my second problem is i now have no audio. All audio options have been taken over by nvidia HD audio and for whatever reason i can't enable onboard audio.

Then my 3RD problem is that the GPU doesn't even seem to work. MY pc recognizes it exists and says all drivers for it are up to date but every game i try to run just doesn't work. Hearthstone screen goes purple, Dragon age doesn't load past resume game and Heroes of Newerth throws a fatal k2 error. pliz help.

pc specs:
CPU: intel core i5
MEMory: 8GB (not sure what make as im on my laptop.)
GPU: Gigabyte twin turbo GTX 970.
PSU: corsair cx 600
MOBO: gigabyte ga z77 d3H

Also it might be useful to say that i at the same time added a second monitor to my set up which had no problems.

Many thanks
AH

Some simple questions first.

How old is your PSU and what was your previous GPU?
Is the PCI'e power plugged in and running properly?
Is the GPU properly seated in its socket with all other cables and connectors out of the way. (A common problem on our school builds)
