yes ofcourse it will support gtx 970. But it doesnt have a power button. Even GA-Z170X-UD3 or GA-Z170-D3H doesnt have it, though i have Z87X-UD3H and it had power, reset, and 2 bios switches. Only motherboards like 170X-Gaming seem to have it now - http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5478 . but on board power buttons are only usefull if you overclock or take your computer apart alot.

Hello, thank you for your quick answer.
I would like to know why the G1 Gaming GA-Z170X mobo costs twice from the GA-B150M-D3H? Is it designed for overclocking? What extra features does it have?

well it has alot of stuff that you dont need: thunderbolt, (relatively) better audio, killer lan, 4way SLI, 2 m.2 slots. realy not worth it for you. you will be totally fine with B150M.
