I am having problems with my computer crashing and getting bsod when playing games, I have an r9 280x and which is the newest driver from the link I provided? I am running windows 10 64-bit.

My amd drivers said they were from 12/5/2015, but the radeon software crimson edition 15.12 says 12/17/2015. I uninstalled my current drivers and installed the radeon software crimson edition 16.1 hotfix. and now in driver manager my drivers say 11/4/2015 and when I click update it says I have the latest driver? that doesn't make sense, before I uninstalled my previous drivers the driver date said 12/5/2015, so something is wrong here.

I am going to uninstall the amd drivers, which ones are the correct ones from the link I provided? do hotfix drivers need the previous drivers to work? I am so confused.

thanks in advance!!!

well no telling the cards driver maybe from 11/4 but the rest of the driver package may of been whats updated ?? also your using a older 200 card it may unpack something later for the newer 300 cards ??

read the release notes to be sure you did not miss something ?? [may as well read over the drivers release notes as well ?? -- download full release notes ]

then it maybe just another windows 10 thing ? I won't use it , sorry...

I do know for my 7000 card any driver over 13.12 just seems to have some kind of issue and I go right back to...

No, the hotfix driver is all you would need. Could be Windows 10 acting up or just too fresh drivers. New Win OSes always have problems. Doesn't matter if it's brand new hardware or software, you are a free betatester for the companies for the first year or so.

anyway looks like the latest your trying to use

don't know why AMd called it a hot fix and confuses folks why not just list it as a newer driver and cut that crap ??
