Hello, I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out the voltage for my CPU to overclock. I tried OCing before at 4.3GHz and voltage at 1.345 and it lasted for a day but then the temps reached I think 98c or something so I took that as a warning and tried out other stuff. I tried booting my PC didn't load up windows. Tried all different frequencies and nothing works. If anyone can give me some idea's to try out for 4.2GHz at OC stable. (Before I was stress testing all mine I tried that booted windows and it would drop the frequency in CPU-Z so I had to try out other) I changed it back to 3.2GHz. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I think that I honestly am just going to get a Intel core i5 4590 because I was planning on upgrading soon anyways and then just selling my Pentium. Thanks for all the help though.

If you have a decent aftermarket CPU cooler then you should be able to just change the multiplier to 42 and the voltage to 1.20
Then run OCCT to make sure it's stable. If it is stable then bump it up to 4.4 and run OCCT again. If it was not stable at 4.2 then bump the voltage up to 1.22 and run OCCT again. I would try not to go above 1.3 volts, and you must have adequate cooling.
If your temps get into the high 70's running OCCT then stop you will need better cooling.
Here they say 1.32 is safe for everyday use.

Well I did what you said and its reaching about 90c at the highest :/, I will probably either get a new cpu or buy a new cooler, If I was going to buy a cooler what would you recommend?
