I HAVE A A10-7870K. In performance monitor, it only shows that I have 2 cores and 4 logical processors. When it should read 4 cores and 4 logical processors. Have it set to 4 cores in msconfig. I have updated the Bios and chipset on the motherboard. Would appreciate any help.

AMD cores are still there. They are classified as 2 cores because a pair of cores share a power source. Each pair is a module. 2 cores take power form the same place. It is really 4 cores. So a FX 8350 would have 4 cores and 8 logical processors. An a10 7870 would have 2 cores and 4 logical processors.Do not worry about this- it is actually 4 cores
