Is the Logilink IDE Hard drive to SATA Converter (AD0005B) compatible with windows 10 ? and/ or with the motherboard FM2A58M-DG3+ ?

Solution
Is the drive visible at all from Disk Management? (This PC -> Manage -> Storage -> Disk Management)
If not, then I'm sorry but it should just work :p make sure you've tried the different jumpersettings
- no jumper
- CS (Cable Select)
- Slave
- Master

If none of them works, then I'm out of ideas.

I don't think any converter is dependent on OS or motherboard, the converter itself handles everything.

Source: been using several different converters on many motherboards, they all work perfectly.

And, if you check out the doodad on logilinks page they do state that:

With this LogiLink adapter you can connect your IDE and S-ATA ports with each other. It works in both directions and is set with the switch to the desired function. There are no drivers needed, and the interfaces of both connection sides are standardized.

No drivers needed and it's standardized, which probably means it just works on everything :)

Where is it not recognized? BIOS or Windows?
If in Windows, the HDD might not have been initialized or partitioned yet. If BIOS can't detect it, then continue playing with the jumpers, I've found that most IDE drives works best with NO jumper at all when using converters.
Do you have an older computer with IDE ports so you can see if the drive is working at all?
