I was going to throw a GTX 750 ti and new PSU into my old hp desktop to do me until I can afford a proper gaming pc later on in the year.

I know you can stream games from a gaming pc with a GEforce gpu but the thing I want to know is if I get a nvidia shield tv can I hook it up to my desktop with a HDMI cable and utilize the Tegra x1 gpu in it to play games at lower settings on my steam account on my pc. (Basically use the shield tv as a temporary gpu until I can afford a proper gaming setup)

I know it's an unusual set up and might be a dumb idea it's just I was going to get a chromecast for my tv and a gpu for my pc anyways and I seen the Shield tv with all of this included but the only thing wrong is that it doesn't have access to my steam account games.
