MSI 970 won't boot passed bios. Cannot access Windows 7

I just upgraded my CPU and Motherboard. I have everything connected properly but I cannot get passed the Bios screen. It boots to "Windows error recovery screen". If I click "start windows normally" it flashes to a blue screen and then restarts. If I click "Launch startup repair" nothing is found at the end of the scan. Do I need to reinstall windows 7 ( I have no idea what my serial # is) or do I need to update the Bios somehow?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

xfx hd7800 2gb
16 gigs ram
Cool power 980W power supply

I reinstalled my old motherboard and cpu and then downloaded the software that came with the mobo. I then reinstalled the Mobo and still nothing... I really need help.

No asnwers? I've been searching all day, plugged in an internal speaker, no beeps or anything. Do I need to purchase a new cd key and re-install windows?
