HI all, attached you can see my hard drive config in Windows 10.
My main Harddrive for Windows 10 is the 232.88GB (Disk 4) = Samsung SSD 250 GB = my C: drive.
Somehow, I want to remove my old drive (Disk 0 WD160 149.05 GB) as I have a new harddrive (Disk 5, still formatting) I tried taking off thd old drive (Disk 0) physically from motherboard but then WIndows 10 won't boot. I see "Loading Operation System" from my motherboard after the BIOS screen.. I have to plug in the hard drive (Disk 0) again so I can boot.
my question is, is there anyway I can copy the boot sector or what soever so I can boot my windows and remove my old WD160 (Disk 0) drive?
PS: I have no idea why WIndows 10 somehow put the boot stuff on my Disk 0 drive, I was so sure that I choose Disk 4 as the drive for windows 10 to install, but Windows 10 def. put some boot stuff on Disk 0, otherwise I would have able to boot even with Disk 0 being disconnected from motherboard.l
Many thanks!
