NZXT H440 Radiator support

Many threads on this forum discuss radiator lengths, but I would like to know, how thick can a radiator be on the top of an NZXT H440? I purchased an H440, and I would like to watercool my CPU. I have seen people watercool in this case mounting Radiators on the top of the case, but how thick can a radiator in the top be without interfering with things on the Motherboard?

It all depends on your motherboard. Even then, you don't want to go past 40mm in thickness since it doesn't have much headroom on top. If your motherboard has some weird protrusions for the heatsinks up top, then that might be problematic. Even better would just be to measure it yourself. How much space do you have with your motherboard installed up top?

I actually don't have the case yet, I've ordered it, and I'm waiting on delivery.

Go check out some other people's custom cooling rigs. See what thickness rads they have.

Well, I have been, but I just want to know how thick I can go. Many people go with 27 mm rads with 25mm fans. I just wonder how much thicker you can go.
