Greetings dear reader!
I purchased a new gaming rig and its about 1-2 months old with the following specs:
- Asus z170 pro gaming (motherboard)
- Asus strix gtx 970 (videocard)
- Intel I5 6600K 3.8 GHz (little performance increase to 4.1Ghz, but no BSOD's so far).
- Corsair 8Gb ddr4 memory
- Samsung Evo 250Gb SSD
- Windows 10 64 bit
The temperatures on the computer are all normal:
videocard around 68 Celcius when under load
CPU around 55 Celcius
This always happens when playing games (Shogun 2 (not the most graphicly demanding game) - Arma 3). And this is a recent development. What happens is that the game completely freezes (the sound aswell) and I need to reboot the computer in order to get it to a functional state.
I installed all the latest drivers for the GPU and all the other devices (also the onboard graphics card).
And I'am really wondering why this keeps happening! what do you guys think that it could be?
is the system unstable and what can i do to make it into a stable one?
Many thanks for your time
