Hi, I'm trying to build a gaming PC on a ~$400 budget. I have come up with the following part list:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Zwq2hM
Here's where the problem comes in. I am upgrading from a garbage prebuilt that has no business playing any games. Here's the part list of the computer I'm currently using. Thanks, Speccy!

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU
AMD Athlon II X2 240 56 °C
Regor 45nm Technology
RAM
4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 483MHz (7-7-7-20)
Motherboard
PEGATRON CORPORATION Narra6 (CPU 1) 59 °C
Graphics
L2151w (1920x1080@60Hz)
256MB GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (HP)
Hard Drives
699GB Seagate ST375052 8AS SCSI Disk Device (ATA)
Optical Drives
hp DVD A DH16AAL SCSI CdRom Device
DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

Here's the question: Will the hard drive in my current PC be compatible with my future build?
