Hey,

I upgraded my hackintosh to El Capitan and when I go to the system information it says my CPU is a Intel Core i7 when in reality it's a Xeon E3 1230v3. I've noticed slightly less performance after upgrading and I'm wondering if this could play a part.
Any ideas?

I would recommend installing windows, that should fix almost all of your problems, lol jk. Captain is still quite new so maybe it just selected the closest relative to the xeon 1230v3, the i7 4770. Probably a bug that they should fix shortly. The performance issues you mentioned also sound quite normal for a os that has only been released for a few months, will probably get fixed in the next update. Doesn't sound like anything to get worried about.
