Hi all, shame my first post had to be with problems =/
So new pc build:
Motherboard: MSI Z97 guard pro
CPU: 4790k
Ram: 16gb 1866mhz corsair vengeance (4x4gb sticks)
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 970
Kingston 60gb SSD boot drive
Kingston 240gb SSD
WD 500gb HDD
Custom liquid cooling loop.
So the problem i'm facing is sometimes the pc just slows down to a crawl, games lag fps drops,
i have checked temperatures to rule out thermal throttling and the highest my graphics card has been was 48 degrees while running furmark stress test for 45 minutes and 52 degrees on the cpu while running prime95 for an hour, i have not run a memtest yet but i will be trying that overnight or tomorrow.
I have attached a screenshot of my task manager during one of these moments of lag while only running vlc playing a dvd and 1 google chrome tab with facebook open, as you will be able to see the cpu usage is showing as 39% although it peaked at 48% during those few minutes i just want to figure out what may be wrong or happening as if there is a problem i want to be able to return any faulty goods asap,
