So I have a very bad build (it's old).
I am building a new PC and I was wondering if you guys have any idea if there's something wrong in it or I should change something or if it's good in general.

Here's my current:
CPU: Intel Pentium 2 Quad CPU Q8300 2.49GHz
GPU: GTX 650 1GB
Memory: 8GB Random idk what...
Motherboard/Power Supply/HDD/Case/CPU Cooler: random old stuff don't even know their names.

New build:
Motherboard: MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card

I'm aiming for 800$ and lower and this is the best I got, 4GB VRam GPU is a must, memory 16GB is also a must so I have no clue how to get some stuff with a lower price, altho just wanna know if I should build and you guys agree that they are all compatible.

Just saw the thread on how to ask for build advice, I'll update this post after I wake up tomorrow morning sorry guys and I just wanna build a PC I have everything I need and also it's a gaming PC obviously, if you can advice me for something as good as I have written and lower price please do... I also have no clue what PCIe lane and stuff like that I just want a good PC I'm not that much of an expert in these areas if someone could link an explanation or explain that would be great.

Add a little more and go for this skylake RIG

750w B2 , good deal.
RAM is 2800mhz.
R9 390.

It'll handle any game at 1080p ultra.

Edit: A aftermarket cooler is not absolute necessary, if you want you can buy it later or not at all, since it is a non-k CPU, it won't OC much anyways.

Hey man, thanks for replying and thanks for everyone else also, I am mostly looking for 16GB RAM since I might host a server to have fun on with friends (It's not that necessary but I have 8GB atm and they're being crap).
I was also wondering is there much difference if I get i5 3.2GHz or 3.5GHz? I just want something that can handle GTA V while recording with Shadowplay, and also I wanted the GTX for Shadowplay because it's really easy and simple and also I don't plan to upgrade anything this is just a new build that I hope will last for at least 2 years max.
I also intend to lower the price if possible so here's my new idea (really looking to save money to get a new mouse and keyboard also).
After some thinking I didn't do what I said above, here's the build tell me what you think, I'm going for 700$ if possible.

Also if you think there's a better CPU/Mobo/PSU please tell me and I plan on keeping the GTX 960 4GB

For your purpose 3.2ghz i5 is fine.

- Removed CPU cooler, stock cooler is absolutely fine for locked i5 4460.
- 16GB RAM added.
- Your listed PSU is not made by superflower but made by FSP. EVGA 750W B2 is made By superflower, better than EVGA G , more watts, less price.

Hey man, that's for the new list I added the 16GB RAM to my build and removed the CPU Cooler but I'm still at 757$ I mean the PSU is 90$ that's a lot for a PSU if there was one for 60$ that would be great and the Case is 60$ if there was one for at least 50$ or 40$ that would also be great, thank you.
(Note : I'm not including discounts or rebate I want the original price for each since I'm probably not gonna order them online and I'm gonna buy them here so at my place because I'm gonna probably get scammed I'll have to pay at least an extra 100$ so I'm trying to take the price down to 700$ so when I buy the parts from a shop I don't have to pay 900$ so I pay 800$ if you understand what I mean.

Well, i advise you to spend atleast 70$ for PSU, not that there isn't any PSU under 60$ that is worth, but mostly either they are under 60$ with rebate OR are out of stock at the very moment, i checked XFX 550w PSU, the only solid PSU under 60$ without any discounts and rebate and guess what it was out of stock.

So,if you can find one anywhere under 60$ buy it.

That's that , if you can't manage to get one, i'd say increase budget to 10$ more for the PSU making it 70$ and go with this one :
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Modular-Crossfire-Warranty-210-GQ-0650-V1/dp/B017HA3SQ8/ref=sr_1_21?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1453843235&sr=1-21&keywords=power+supply#Ask

Another one for about 60$ and seasonic.

One more thing i'd say, never compromise on PSUs, they are the most important part in the whole RIG, one bad PSU can fry up entire PC.
Check PSU Tier List to get the idea of bad and good PSUs out there and choose the right unit.

As for performance, with these cards you'll run GTX V at high settings smoothly at 1080p, for 1080p ultra GTX 970 and R9 390 are the right cards.

The PowerColor looks cool and I think it's the better one, even tho the XFX looks solid cool, I was wondering do you think I really need to change the GTX 960 to R9 280x? I mean the 960 is 4GB and I need GTA V Ultra and some other games at 1080p do you think the XFX or PowerColor will handle Ultra 1080p with 3GB? I don't think they do, should I just go with GTX 970 4GB? or R9 390? I have no clue how they're better over each other.
After doing some research I think the GTX 960 4GB will be good enough for very high settings at 1080p and I think that's enough for me.

It's up to personal preferance, if you like the GTX 960 sure go ahead, it's a solid GPU for 1080p high-very settings.

As for VRAM, you don't need more than 3 gb in these cards, i run GTA V on GTX 970 all setting Very high,FXAA, and some factors in advanced settings turned off and only it uses 2455MB of Vram.

Idk maybe I'll need more than 3gb if it was for Witcher 3 or Black Ops 3? Who knows I guess I'll stick with 4GB I don't wanna stress my GPU and I was wondering do you think the CPU will have any lack in processing or its good enough for GTA V and Black Ops 2/3 ? Btw I also wanted to thank you a lot for helping me with this build, this is my first build ever and I guess I will start working and buy it in a month :D
