What GPU for around 200?

It depends on the game. On some games the 280x actually beats it by a couple of FPS but the 380 pretty much beats the GTX 960 across the table, at every resolution. If you want the best card 200 bucks can get you and don't want to roll the dice on a used card, which I don't recommend doing, then the R9 380 is the best option out there.
The R9 280x has better performance than the GTX 960 which has better performance than the GTX 950. End of story.

But for 200 dollars, the R9 380 has better performance than the 280x, and has 1GB more VRAM. That would be my choice.

I was looking at the sapphire r9 390 nitro....i just dont know how much better it is..
