Reusing HDD on New build Computer

guys i need your opinion or advice. I'm now almost done building my new computer, but i am planning to reuse my HDD by completely clean erase the HDD and use it on my new computer. but installation of window is on SSD. is it recommendable?? and sorry for my poor English.

my build.
Intel skylake i7-6700k
Asus Maximus hero VIII
Corsair Veangeance 16GB(4x4gb) DDR4 3000MHZ
Asus GTX 980ti
Corsair Neutron XT 240GB
Corsair 850HXI Plat+

No probs with that.

If you manage to get it to go, first thing I would do, is update the BIOS.

That CPU is affected by a bug. It'll freeze if it's under load.

Updating the BIOS once you get it to post etc MAY fix it
