I have installed 8gb ram in my motherboard my ram is 2×4 gb 1600 mhz ram and my motherboard is gigabyte 78lmt s2 rev 1.2. After installing the ram i just check in the computer properties it says installed memory 8gb and 4gb is usable.my os is windows 7 64 bit.why is this happening.i kbow nothing about computers please help me.
I have done this tricks but it failed
1.i go to the msconfig and uncheck the memory but it did not work.
2.i go to the bios setup and i tried lowering the memory speed to 1333 mhz but it did not work too. So please help me now what shoud i do.n sry for my bad english
