Heyho :)

I want to buy/build a new PC. It is mainly for gaming (modding is a big part of it) and my budget is somewhere between 1000 and 1500 €. I will probably try a little bit of overclocking as well. The following list is what I came up with (after some research) but I'd really like to hear the opinion of people who know about this stuff ;-)

The reason for the GTX 970 SLI is that I already own one of them (so i guess it doesn't make sense to go any other direction)

Thx in advance

If you're playing at 1080P/60Hz then I'd just stay with a single GTX 970 because that will play everything on ultra anyway. Then when you get to the point when it can't, just replace it with a modern card.

That means you could drop the PSU down to 500W and I'd also drop the RAM down to 8GB. Even 4GB is fine for gaming nowadays but 8GB means you won't have to upgrade it for a while.

With the money you save you could just hold onto it until your next upgrade or get a nice monitor/speakers or something.
