So like the title says, I have a gigabyte 650 TI Boost 2gb. I want to upgrade to the newer era of gfx. I am thinking of spending maybe about 200-275. What would be a good replacement in that price range where I would notice a large difference. Or should i just try and find another 650 Ti Boost to SLI it? I dont know if the newer cards would be better as single compared to this SLI.

You can find an XFX R9 390 for 275 if u look around a bit, huge difference. I wouldn't SLI the 650 because it only has 2GB of vram which won't be enough to run new games at high settings and you can always run into problems running SLI/xfire setups. So try to find an R9 390 in your price range and if you don't alot of retailers sell the 290 at around 200 to get rid of stock at the moment. If u're dead set on an nvidia card your only option is the 960 which is alot slower than the R9's.

I just did a gpuboss with 650 ti boost vs 960 and if u go down to the bottom is shows the 960 as a lot better in there benchmarks than mine. also on toms hierarchy chart the 960 is like 4 tiers above mine. its really that much slower?

Here's a nice article on your card in SLI:

http://www.techspot.com/review/661-nvidia-geforce-gtx-650-ti-boost-sli/

However, I would almost always recommend a single card over dual card setups, given the multiple other issues it can highlight (power, drivers etc.)

If you wish to stick with Nvidia and assuming your talking $ then the GTX960 is a great card in that price range.
