R9 280X no signal on monitor

I put my new R9 280X graphic card in pc i didnt install any driver for amd before i use Nvidia graphic card... and on monitor i am getting no signal.. what i need to do help please!!!

Power supply: Thermaltake 730W
Cpu: intel core i5 2400 3.10 GHZ
GPU:R9 280X (old one is GTS 450)
Motherboard- H61H2-M2
Ram: 8 gb

I
If your monitor/tv depending on what you're using has different inputs try changing that. If that isn't the case check for a faulty wire by changing your monitor, then I would probably check to see if the GPU is DOA. (Dead on Arrival)

i uninstaled and i have only dvi-i connector i am using dvi-a adapter to vga because my monitor is vga

at his moment i am using my pc but only on standard VGA graphic card without any graphic card in pc.. evrything work greate but when i put my graphic card R9 280X in its no signal and also when i get my GTS 450 back in my pc its working :( idk what is problem
