If i remove asus gpu tweak i will lose my clock!? Correct!?

Reason i ask is because everytime i boot up, on windows 10 i get a notification saying asus gpu tweak is running. As it does in the backgraound.

However when i go into notification settings and turn gpu tweak notifications to off. It does not remember this setting and everytime i boot up i get an annoying notification...

Therefore i think i shall remove the app.

Am i right in thinking if i dont have gpu tweak running. My OC wont be running?

That would be correct, as its that program which sets the clock speed at your preferred setting every time you boot your PC.

If you dont want the notification, you can set Tweak to not start up when you boot up, and when you want the OC enabled, you can start up Tweak manually.

Do this by running 'msconfig' in the taskbar, and under 'start-up', uncheck the program from the list.

Its probably just a Windows 10 bug - Microsoft is still working on fixing a lot of them, so little ones like this will take a while.

Another alternative is to use a different GPU OC/monitor software such as MSI Aftrburner or EVGA Precision (it doesnt matter who makes your graphics card).
