I am trying to enable Marvell Storage Controllers in my BIOS in order to install a 3rd HDD on the 3gb/s port. For some reason I don't even have the option to enable them on my BIOS like I should as you can see here: http://i.imgur.com/Vlxl83y.jpg I have JMB storage controllers, but enabling/disabling that does nothing. This is what that page looks like in the manual http://i.imgur.com/6nMz5TS.jpg As you can see it has a Marvell option. Without that option I haven't been able to get the 3gb/s port to detect any of my HDDs or a CD drive as you can see here: http://i.imgur.com/2JEKxrj.jpg
Things I have tried:
1)Testing different HDDs and cable and port configurations
2)Updated mobo BIOS to latest version
3)Tried to reinstall Marvell drivers from Asus website, but not sure if I am doing it correctly.
It seems like I am for some reason missing the option to enable Marvell Storage Controllers and have JMB storage controllers in it's place for some reason. I think I've tried everything else. Any help is greatly appreciated.
