Hi, I have been recently having a problem with my PC. Whenever I turn it on, it starts out normally, but then it makes a loud roaring sound that goes away as soon as it is turned off. Otherwise, the noise will stay. I have to turn the computer on and off several times(even waiting for over an hour at some points) to make this noise go away temporarily. It usually comes back the next time I turn my computer on. I already tested to see if it was the DVD drive making the noise and it was not.

Here is the video of the noise:

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a rotating sound to me, have you checked to see if the fans are all working ok and nothing is hitting the blades? If you have a lot of fans you can unplug them one at a time from the power source and see if that goes away. Otherwise try disconnecting drives one at a time from power supply and see if it goes away. Just be sure to have the power off when disconnecting and reconnecting cables

Thank you for the help, I found out that it was the rear exhaust fan causing the sound. How would you recommend I fix that? Or should I just replace the fan entirely?

sometimes the fan comes loose and vibrates and you might need a new one. Unless it was a cord or something rubbing on it. Usually not a big deal if you have more fans but might want to get a different one soon
