So far this is the list of parts I'm about to purchase:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i GT 113.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MB: Asus MAXIMUS VIII FORMULA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
RAM: Corsair DOMINATOR Platinum 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
GPU(s): EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB K|NGP|N ACX 2.0+ Video Card (2-Way SLI)
PSU: Corsair 1000W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Total of: $3249.04

I'm currently aiming to play on 1440p (maybe 4K), I haven't decided my monitor yet because I don't know if I'm underestimating it's power too much. Though, I'm planning to play at the highest setting as possible in every game of course! I'll probably use these graphics cards at stock speeds at first but I'll be looking forward to overclocking them and mess around with them a lot! I already have experience with PC building but the thing is that this is a huge step for me and I'm about to invest a lot of money on this. I want to make sure if EVERYTHING is perfectly fine on this list.

Please feel free to criticize as much as possible as long as it's constructive.

Great build. I would get a 4k monitor if possible as this build is a perfect match. I would also try to get water-cooled 980ti like evga 980ti Hybrid if your case has the slots to mount the radiators. Definitely make sure your case supports 100i I am uncertain about the power supply. Which corsair 1000w power supply are you getting?

Well since I'm using PCPartPicker it estimates about 697W. I'm planning to get the RM series, Corsair RM1000i. Both Amazon and Newegg gives 5 star reviews on it!

I like how it's about the same price and possibly the same performance (probably would change a few parts) but I rely a bit more on EVGA. Dont worry about the case, right now I have the Corsair 750D :) Now about the cooling, I was going for the GTX version but I prefer the pipes going into the side instead of the top (if you know what I mean). It feels less adjustable for my taste but thank you!
