Should I stay 1150 socket, upgrade, or wait for 2016

So as the title says, my system as follows.

i7 4790k
HyperX Savage 16gb
Maximus hero VII
H100i Liquid cooler
EVGA 780ti SC ACX
EVGA 850 Supernova G2 PSU
1tb HDD
250gb SSD
Corsair 760T

Should I wait for whatever intels new socket is for this year? (any date on release) Or go for 1151 I don't want to be behind when it comes to Hardware, specially Motherboard, CPU and Ram, even though performance between the two are pretty close. Or, should I just stick with my system atm and just buy a 980ti? I am hesitant to buy a 980ti because of NVIDIA wanting to release Pascal. I don't want to spend $1000 on a new GPU only for Nvidia to release their new GPU in a few months (if they do). I am torn.

you'll probably be fine for the next 3 years or more with this setup. if you're having issues with games you can look into upgrading the video card. but nothing else in that machine has a significant upgrade on the market at the moment.

the more often people do marginal upgrades on awesome gear (instead of simply turning down the game settings), the more flooded the used market is with great gear for me to buy.

so, no, i don't see a problem with that! keep 'em coming!
