So I am doing my first build pretty soon and I was wondering if it is worth buying my parts from us sites as I live in the UK and it is a well known fact that parts are more expensive here so my build is £1129 in us$ that is $1610 but here is the parts list for my build in £ http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/fmMJ6h and here is the us$ build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8kBs99 the U.S.$ build is the equivalent to £938 would I be better getting my parts from a U.S. Site
Note- getting a gtx 750ti cause I'm upgrading to pascal in 6 months :)

Solution
no its not worth the bother the charges negate the cheaper usa price will actually work out dearer-just look at newegg uk to see--cant understand why any one in the uk would buy from there at all
If you get hit for VAT, Import duty and admin charges which is highly likely it will work out much more expensive. Then you factor in the added Hassel should any part be faulty and it's not worth it. Buying from within the EU avoids the duty and VAT as it's already paid

Contact UK customs and ask them. Not all US sites ship to UK; the site you order from should be able to provide the cost delivered to your door (unless they only ship and customs clearing is your responsibility.) If a part under warranty fails, you may have to ship it back to the US; any issue with that?
