I mean, i dont know if this is true, but as i know, different mobos has differnte voltage management, so... maybe some motherboards give different volt to the cpu thant other, wich means lowe temperatures?

It works that way?

No, about different voltage is when you start to OC, every mobo works with the same voltage (imagine mobos with different voltage, your CPU only will works in certains mobos)

The factors of CPU temperatures hot or cold is the cooling system, from start. Later is a bunch of reasons to see what is going on with the temperatures.

Are you looking a mobo for your system?

Probably im going to change it if its necesary.

I dont know why but with a 4790k muy mobo, gigabyte ud3h, sends 1.26v with auto management.
The i see other people with another mobos working with 1.2 or even less.

I dont know the reason :S

So my cpu temps are higher than other people, obviously.

You are the first person that says me that, and this calm me down a lot.

Everybody says "i run prime/aida/whatever and doesnt goes beyond 63ºC never".

So that 73ºC arent high for a stres test, or the 60ºC gaming?

Thank you.

I never ran a stress test, but I consider that those temperatures for this process is justified.

For example, i'm always running Open Hardware monitor and my top temperature is 60° gaming (i was playing CoD2), and, now browsing are 37°.

So, its plenty fine. You need to start worrying when you CPU reach 80° or 90°c.

Well i dont have the stock cooler, if i use it it runs very hot, i cant use it, so...
